8/09/07 I got home from the Wyvern cat show exhausted, ready for my cup of tea to find that Karma, a black tortie tabby LaPerm was ready to give birth. It was all action stations and she proceeded to carry on with no help from me to produce 6 lovely babies - 3 curly and 3 straight haired variants. |
| 8/09/07 Meanwhile, not to be outdone, Mia decided to go into labour too and produced 8 babies with a little help from me. They were all curly, with 2 lovely Friesian cow lookalikes! |

14/09/07 Karma's kittens are going from strength to strength. They are fat little dumplings and Karma is so proud of them. |
| 14/09/07 Mia's kittens are also growing well although they are proportionally smaller than Karma's. There is one little red with white boy who is causing concern. Although lively, he is failing to put on weight with the others. I will be keeping a close eye on him. |

6/10/07 I bit the bullet this week and decided to put both mums and all the kittens in the kitten room together. They settled very well, initially in their own separate areas, but within days everybody mixed in together - lovely! |

| 13/10/07 Well, this is a very rare photo showing all 13 kittens! You can see 12 faces and there is one red one peeping out at the back. They are all beginning to develop their own little personalities and it is quite easy to tell which kittens belong to which mum. Karma's kittens are significantly bigger and have much more vibrant red in their coat. Mia's kittens are smaller (there were 8 initially vying for space in her uterus) and the red is diffused due to her being a shaded LaPerm. The little straight haired variants are proper little chocolate box kittens. |

08/11/07 They are really exploring the kitten room now. This photo demonstrates the difference between the reds in the 2 litters. Karma's kitten is on the right and is a much deeper red than Mia's kitten. On a safety note, they are sitting in the door of the washing machine which is securely locked. They are so inquisitive at this age and washing machines can be very dangerous! |
| 21/11/07 Now how many kittens can we squeeze into the entrance of a small play tunnel? The little black and white Friesian looks much more like a kitten now and less like a cow, bless him. They are now auditioning for their new slaves to take them to their new forever homes. If you think you might be interested please email me at

22/12/07 The kittens are ready to leave now but I won't be letting them go over the Christmas and New Year period as this would be very stressful for them, and their new owners. Little Cliff Kitchard (left in this photo) and 2 of the variant (straight coated kittens) are going to their new homes in the New Year. |
| 29/03/08 These two beauties left today to live a life of luxury in Farnborough. I don't know who was most excited. The kittens, at the thought of their very own laps to sit on, or the new owners on finally taking their much longed for new pets home. One of the nice things about kittens leaving is the fact that we have made new friends. I just love it when I get pictures of them as they grow up in their new homes. |
